BRC's entry with an LPG-powered car is a part of the LDI system development program. The LDI is a sequential liquid state autogas injection system, supplying direct-injected engines with LPG by means of the original petrol injectors. While the autogas system is virtually the same as last season, there's something new on the car for 2015 – BRC's own braking pads, subject to undergo intensive testing on the rally Fiesta.
Giandomenico Basso's debut in the 2015 season will be on March 22, in the Rally del Ciocco. The car will feature Michelin tyres and OMP equipment. The same rally will also be the debut of BRC's other rally car – an LPG-powered Suzuki Swift, a contestant in the Suzuki Rally Trophy series. The Swift will be driven by a rallying novice – Giorgio Cogni. It's actually good to see BRC sees the potential in young drivers and offers them a chance to gain some experience.
