Goodbye AEGPL, welcome Liquid Gas Europe!

Still an association, just not by the name

Local and international LPG associations are just that – LPG associations, with adjectives indicating particular countries or continents preceding the regular components of the name. With AEGPL, this is no longer the case – the voice of the European liquefied petroleum gas sector has taken measures to become more easily recognised and to emphasise the industry's dynamic character. Say goodbye to the European LPG Association, but shed no tear – Liquid Gas Europe is here and ready to take over.

Not a change for change's sake

The change coincides with the 50^th anniversary of the association's inception and was announced during a cocktail party in Brussels in September 2018. More immediately visible and recognisable, Liquid Gas Europe will continue its to-date mission – supporting adoption of LPG as a versatile, affordable and easily available source of energy across the Old Continent – with new energy. With over 50 members, the organisation represents all sectors of the liquefied petroleum gas industry, promoting its product and its numerous advantages.
