The car, driven by Giandomenico Basso and co-driven by Lorenzo Granai has received the new bodywork colour scheme especially for the rally. It's set to promote BRC Brake Racing – BRC's new brand of performance brake pads. They have been designed with sports cars in mind and are made of highly durable materials to withstand the rigours of high-performance driving.
BRC Brake Racing's brake pads debuted on September 12-13, 2015, during the Vallelunga round of the Green Hybrid Cup, a racing series featuring LPG-electric Kia Venga hybrids equipped with BRC's autogas systems.
Apart from Giandomenico Basso's Fiesta R5, BRC Racing Team will be represented during the rally by yet another rally car – a Suzuki Swift LPG. The rally starts on Friday, September 18, in Rome. 8 special stages will be held on Saturday, with 3 more scheduled for Sunday, September 20. Drivers will cover over 730 km of routes, including 158,5 km of special stages. Keep your fingers crossed for BRC Racing Team's drivers!
