Constant improvements and new options are necessary, since customers' needs and expectations are changing, and so the TITAN 53 module – first presented during the World Gas Conference in Washington, DC, in June 2018 – is the latest offering on the ever-evolving market.
© HexagonThe Hexagon TITAN53 container module utilises the largest composite tanks in the world, which are manufactured in Lincoln, NebraskaHexagon has designed and built pressure tanks especially for this solution and they're the largest of their kind in the world. They have been fitted in the container module in such a way that the gross vehicle weight (80 thousand pounds in most US states, approx. 36 tons) is optimally used and as much gas can be transported as possible. How much exactly? 492 thousand cubic feet or 14 thousand cubic metres.
The TITAN 53 module is destined for use in the most energy-consuming branches of industry, virtual interconnectors, off-grid CNG refueling stations, for CNG refilling or transport of other gasses. It proves how versatile composite pressure vessels can be and how methane fuels can be used independently of pipelines.
