The AFT Asia 2014 exhibition and conference, which will be held from 28th to 30th April, 2014 at BITEC in Bangkok – is the response to the voices of stakeholders about clean vehicle energy. This gathering will be a business platform bringing together manufacturers of alternative fuel technologies, vehicle producers, fuel suppliers and distributors, transport authorities, fleet operators and others from the Asia-Pacific region.
Southeast Asia is now producing over 3.7 million cars a year, 66% of those are manufactured in Thailand, a total of over 2.4 million per year, with ten of the OEM's producing new CNG models. Government policy is pushing heavily towards alternative fuels and consequently Thailand has established itself as the alternative fuel hub of the region. PTT recently reported that CNG and LPG is in double digit growth here in Thailand, making Bangkok the ideal host for AFT Asia 2014.
