The dedicated kit is based on BRC's versatile Sequent Plug & Drive MY10 injection system and features many of the components seen on the same product's LPG version, such as the ECU, the bottom-feed BRC IN03 MY09 injectors, the low pressure sensor on the injector rail, the low pressure fuel filter and the fuel type switch. The CNG kit includes a different pressure reducer and an additional sensor for measuring CNG pressure in the tanks. This sensor's signal is used for displaying remaining CNG pressure.
The Zenith CNG reducer is a 2-stage device, providing output fuel pressure between 1600 and 2500 mbar. The kit includes custom fitting brackets and the ECU features pre-installed CNG injection timing strategies. Thanks to this the conversion process is quick and simple and the outcome pleases the eye. The Sequent Plug & Drive MY10 CNG for the 88 kW (120 PS) 1,4i 16V Turbo engine in the Alfa Romeo Giulietta start/stop is now available through BRC sales network.
