Green Hybrid Cup 2014 - we’ve got the schedule
Just like in previous years, Kia Venga cars with 1.6 LPG-powered engines will take part in the Green Hybrid Cup competition this year. More power will be supplied by two electric engines mounted on the rear axis. A new feature this season is the use of additional charge which will provide higher parameters to the racing cars.
Information on this year’s Green Hybrid Cup was presented by the President of BRC – Mariano Costamagna; the President of Kia Motors Italia – Giuseppe Bitti; and by BRC Racing Team’s representatives.
A list of drivers who will compete this year in Green Hybrid Cup along Jimmy Ghione was presented. Ghione also received honorary citizenship of Cherasco (the town where M.T.M. S.r.l.’s headquarters are located – the company owns BRC Gas Equipment).
Ghione will compete with: Arturo Merzario (a legendary Formula 1 driver), Alberto Biraghi, Aldo Del Monte, Andrea Portatadino, Dario Bertorello, Francesco Fontanella, Fulvio Maria Ballabio, Gabriele Torelli, Giuseppe Gulizia, Jacopo Lombardelli, Mladen Lalusic, Paolo Gnemmi, and Paolo Palanti.
The conference also served as an opportunity to present Green Hybrid Cup’s sponsors: DHL Global Forwarding, Gemini Project, Domenico Giannitti, Indra, Lavazza, Pack Service, PuntoGas, Righi Energy, Rotopim, STAKO Worthington, Tumedei-Gulf Rubber, and Valgrana. Michelin, OMP, and TCN were named golden sponsors. The following companies will serve as technical sponsors: Big Promotion, Dinamica Channel, Esposit, Peraria, and Robe di Viaggio.
