NGV China 2014 - far out
500 exhibitors from over 30 countries, 60 thousand square metres of exhibition area and 30 thousand visitors are quite impressive numbers, aren't they? Especially for a specialised event like this one, revolving exclusively around CNG-powered vehicles (NGV's) and all things related to them, i. e. CNG transportation and refueling infrastructure. But in China everything's big, market for compressed methane as fuel for trucks, buses, passenger cars and everything in between included. It consists of an estimated million vehicles and 3000 filling stations, while Chinese motor companies have the potential to produce 100 thousand new CNG-powered vehicles every year.
Depending on where you are at the moment of reading this announcement, you may or may not be quite far away from China, but regardless of distance it could be worthwhile to visit NGV China's 15th edition on May 7-9, 2014 in Beijing. Use the time before now and the event's start to find a convenient commute and don't forget to get an anti-smog mask – despite impressive numbers of vehicles running on methane, Chinese capital still has a major air quality issue.
