To make a savings estimate, the Simulator provides for the conversion cost payback over a set period of running time, as well as – given the appropriate option has been selected – the cost of petrol used for startups and warm-ups, LPG system servicing cost and higher MOT test cost.
Making estimates this way allows the Simulator to present the User with real-life savings, taking into consideration all the extra costs of driving an LPG-powered car, such as conversion cost and maintenance/servicing costs.
For correct estimates, zero is not allowed, except for "LPG increased consumption percentage" and "conversion cost" fields

The Simulator provides for conversion cost and, if selected, startup
and warm-up petrol cost, LPG system servicing cost and MOT test cost
surcharge for all estimates.
* Approximate startup and warm-up petrol cost has been used for simulation. Depending on a particular car, LPG system type and brand, system settings and driving habits, estimated petrol cost may differ from real-life values.
Estimated monthly cost of startup and warm-up petrol - 10 EUR
** Approximate LPG system servicing cost has been used for simulation. Actual servicing cost and frequency may differ depending on LPG brand and service provider.
For sequential injection, calculation is based on cost of system and conversion:
- 100 EUR for servicing every 10 000 km
- 50 EUR or gaseous stage filter replacement every 10 000 km
- 50 EUR for liquid stage filter replacement every 30 000 km
- 300 EUR for repairs every 60 000 km
For a mixer-type LPG system, the following servicing cost has been adopted (parts included)::
- 60 EUR for servicing every 10 000 km
- 50 EUR for filters replacement every 30 000 km
- 200 EUR for repairs every 60 000 km
